Science Saturday takes place on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00–3:00 PM at the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge. These engaging sessions invite participants to explore exciting science topics through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and creative activities.
Each program is designed to make STEM concepts approachable and fun while encouraging participants to ask questions, test ideas, and discover how science connects to everyday life.
Most classes require advance registration and a small participation fee, which helps cover the cost of materials used during the activity. In many sessions, participants will also be able to take their creations or experiment materials home, extending the learning experience beyond the classroom while supporting the Discovery Center’s educational programs.
