The Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival will be held at the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge, located at 4505 Pulaski Hwy. Belcamp, MD on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9 am – 3 pm.
The Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival—engineered by the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge and many community partners—brings people together through the wonder of science. The hands-on exhibits enable participants to celebrate the science of everyday things through exploration of the scientific principles at play.
From robots and drones to yoga and carnival games, expect a day of family fun! Exhibitors and vendors will round out the attractions.
A regional science fair for middle school students organized by the Senior Science Society will be held in conjunction with the Magic of Science Family Festival. Student participants will display their innovative projects in various STEM disciplines.
After a day at the Festival, families will leave inspired by the wonders of science, able to recognize it in everyday life, and appreciate how it will shape the future.
